We are looking for a Web Designer to work as part of a small marketing team to support a group of brands on all digital and print design and web development, to ensure our brands are projected effectively across all channels to engage with our audiences and build awareness. Key responsibilities:  

Design and build websites from concept to completion using WordPress

We are looking for a bid writer to work in our team. You will collaborate with our corporate, SME and public sector sales teams.

 Job description

Actively seek for new commercial opportunities and public (both OJEU and non-OJEU) tenders – both independently, with partners and sales team (ITTs/PQQs/RFQs/RFPs), and with executive relationship managers (contract renewals, up- and cross-selling)

Establish a clear and thorough understanding of the bid requirements, incl. the main deliverables and client’s drivers for their business

Define relevant service offering to match the customer requirements and expectations and create a Bid Plan

Complete pre-qualification questionnaires as requested and keep sales, management and marketing fully updated on progress

Ensure that bids are completed in a timely fashion, providing the best commercial value and impressive design

Manage the bid writing process, incl. customer needs analysis, planning, scheduling, design, content collection, writing, pricing and submission

Work closely with the Head of Sales and sales/account teams to manage tenders from initiation to submission

Develop creative themes and brainstorm best visual representation of proposals and presentations

Apply understanding of the competition and Monarch points of differentiation

Work with the selected presentation team ensuring key messages are consistent throughout sales process

Maintain a high knowledge and awareness of competitor activity, market trends and industry best practices

Liaise with company management for suitable people to manage the new customers

Further develop our Bid Management Process together with marketing

 

Desired Skills and Experience

1-3 years of experience in writing compelling proposals, bids, sales documents and presentations

You are a proactive person who enjoys getting things done

You work well under deadlines and pressure

You regularly research industry sectors, companies, potential customers and bid opportunities

You have some B2B sales, marketing and/or business development experience

You have worked in business-to-business/professional services or in consulting business

Energy Auditor

Working in partnership with many of the top energy suppliers, The Monarch Partnership operates across many sectors helping business customers save money on their gas and electricity bills by either finding them the best deals, or helping them to be more energy efficient.

Responsibilities and duties:

Obtain a track receipt of energy invoices on a monthly basis.

Input both group and singular invoices into energy database

Develop an understanding of billing elements

Analyse and assess the accuracy of energy charges

Issue weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports

Liaise with suppliers to raise and resolve invoice queries in a timely manner

Identify process improvements that could develop and drive the business

Communicate ongoing queries internally to the relevant parties.

Adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure standards are met

Attend training and develop relevant knowledge skills

 

Skills and experience required

Core Responsibilities

To proactively source leads and generate new business through high volumes of outbound telephone sales

To handle inbound telephone calls generated from web leads and other sources

To effectively manage sales opportunities and lead generation in order to optimise sales performance

HR Assistant

The Monarch Partnership is looking for an HR Assistant to join our small HR department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing organisation with the opportunity to further develop their career alongside an experienced manager. This is a new role we are creating in our HR team to work closely with line managers across the business. The successful candidate should be able to show discretion and diplomacy, and work within a small team effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

Carry out administration duties relating to recruitment, selection, induction, training and development

Attend, prepare for and take an active role in meetings as required, including supporting disciplinary, absence, grievance and investigation meetings

Maintaining accurate HR records and files

Supporting the HR/management team with ER issues, in particular with low level complexity absence, disciplinary and grievance issues including advice, minute taking, supporting meeting and writing relevant correspondence

support the full end to end recruitment process including advertising vacancies, arranging and coordinating interviews and liaising with candidates and recruiting managers

administration of new starters and leavers, ensuring right to work documentation and references are completed

Respond to routine queries from employees and escalate complex matters as required

Any other admin tasks as necessary

Required skills:

Excellent diplomacy, collaborative, organisational, prioritising and problem-solving skills

Previous experience of working within a busy administrative role

IT skills (proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel)

HR experience with experience of dealing with ER issues and recruitment activity

Able to apply high levels of common sense and logic to often delicate and complicated situations

An understanding of employment law

Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to interact with staff at all levels
